Client: Manufacturing business

Task: Develop a relationship with key national merchant group

This particular manufacturer was the market leader in secure sanitary ware and control systems for prisons but needed exposure to a wider market through co-operation with the market-leading merchant group. Traditionally the manufacturer had sold directly to the market and saw the merchants as a competitor but in this ever-developing market the importance of the merchant chains was recognised.

 

ASF was brought in due to our experience of the merchant networks and our extensive contacts within the sector.

 

Result: Within 12 months a relationship was formed and both manufacturer and merchant were developing a working relationship to cover one specific major account plus the stocking and promoting of a two distinct product ranges through both national commercial teams and the branch network.

 

This has been a fantastic result for both businesses with exposure to new products and sectors for both.

Task: Implementation of a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System
